The Looking Glass

Expressing how people routinely use accessories, such as jewellery to express their identity, forcing audiences to make judgements on what that person’s personality and identity is, as the models’ faces are concealed.

Using this concept of portrait identity, I wanted to visually challenge the viewer, taking a more alternative approach to portraiture. 

This project was presented in a photo book form allowing the sequencing of images and visual language to express the concept of the project
